"Had Italian meatloaf and it melted in your mouth, tasted like a stuffed pepper without the pepper. Broccoli casserole didn’t look like much but that flavor was packed in there. Employees were so pleasant and good at their jobs."

"This precious little place made me feel like I was having a great down home Thanksgiving meal with sweet Southern service! FOOD> This was authentic tender juicy turkey and dressing with the best cornbread and cranberry and the cabbage casserole was AMAZING the 2nd side I chose was a cobbler which was PERFECTION and would have won FIRST PRIZE at any county fair bake off contest The tea was perfectly sweet and not bitter at all. I could have drank a gallon SERVICE/ATMOSPHERE> This made me feel like I was a little girl growing up in Greenville again when folks were nice and everything was simple and the world was a happy place as it felt like this was a small down home town place LOCATION> Great location right near downtown PRICE/VALUE> Excellent value as I had half my generous portion for lunch the next day Ive been constantly craving Gus' and can't wait to go back for another helping of their delicious Turkey dinner and their lovely family style atmosphere"

"Wanted a simple yet hearty breakfast while visiting Greenville and a quick Yelp search told me I should try here. I wasn’t disappointed. Service was friendly, food came out fast and hot and it was delish. And prices are just perfect, easily can get a meal for $10 or less."

"Me and mom decided on a early dinner so we opted on a place we haven't been to in a while. So glad that we did. Mom got spaghetti with meatballs and said that she really liked it. I was told that they alternate the spaghetti with meatballs one day and meat sauce the next. I also got the special of the day which was the Cubed steak with rice and gravy and mac-n-cheese. I believe that I made a good choice because for me it was seasoned just right as well as the rice and mac-n-cheese. I should also mention that the lady that waited on us was a charm also. To all of the staff at Gus's, thanks for another wonderful experience"
